Going Home
I have not been Home for a long time. My family has moved away and it is hard finding time to get back. Luckily, my 10 year high school reunion came up and gave me an excuse to go see friends and bump into people that I have not kept in touch with. Moving far away is hard because I really do miss seeing random people.
While I was home, I gave my kiddo's a taste of my childhood. We went to Snow Canyon Park for everything - camping, birthdays, summer days, and just because. I had to let the boys climb all over the rocks that I loved.

Look at us hot mama's and papa.

Dinner was delicious.

This is Jenny's Canyon.
A definite stop for our family!

Caleb was running up and down his mountain.
He was so excited to be able to climb a mountain.
Mr. King!

Dax also loved climbing.
He would climb up two steps and then come down.
We had to tear him of the rocks.
THE REUNION
It started with a family activity in the morning.

My kids love the bouncers.
Dax didn't even mind if big kids were in there as long as he could fall all over.

Caleb is a jumper.
The bigger kids intimidated him a little but he toughed it out.
Look at us hot mama's and papa.
Those of the Drama Jocks that decided to show.
Dinner was delicious. The entertainment was great -
mostly because my friends were in charge so it was all about us.
And the memories were crazy!!
It was fun and I would not have missed it for the world.

My Mother's Day
This is what my Mother's Day consisted of:
Flowers sent by my darling, fabulous, amazing and thoughtful husband
who has no access to phone, internet
or any outside sources right now.
With a note that made me cry tears of love.
And nothing I did would break it.
I prayed longer and harder than I ever have
and Lord came through bringing the fever to 101.9 -
finally he was able to sleep.
I called my mom and she helped me through it all.
- still gave me a smile whenever I asked.
Hugs were always close behind.
Overall I think I had the most down to earth and true Mother's Day. I got to be exactly what a mother is - a nurturer. I got to call upon my mother. When it all got impossible, I was able to call upon the creator of mothers for help and guidance. And the man I love supported me without even knowing I would need it more than ever on this day.
WOW!
I love being a MOM!

I'm Ffree...
Caleb is officially three. He has loved every minute of his age advancement. The unfortunate part about his birthday is that he woke up with a fever of 103.5. Never fear, it came down and he is fine. I think it was for me to remember that he is still a little guy even if he is three.
When I mentioned a cape,
he let me know with no doubt that he wanted a
Batman Cape.
Candy pancakes for breakfast.
My little chef wanted to help make his cake,
and now I think I know why.
and now I think I know why.
Strawberry Pickin'
North Carolina is an amazing place to live during berry seasons! There are farms all over the place that will let you come and pick your berries for an amazing price. The experience is fun and delicious.

Most of the farms will let your kids feast while you pick.
It was definitely a day of messy faces.

Finally off to Myrtle Beach...
We have lived in NC for four years and have never been to Myrtle Beach. Luckily, we have friends that plan fun stuff so we can tag-a-long. We got there on a Friday evening and played in the water until the sun went down. Unfortunately our camera battery died after this so we have yet to get more pics. I can't even tell you how beautiful it was there!

To Grandmother's House We Go...
Over the Mississippi and through the pollen infested woods we went...to my mom's house. Not Your Mom but my mom, literally. I took the kids for two weeks while Dave was doing some training at home. We had a lot of fun. The weather was mostly good and it was nice to kick back and see family.

Mom and Aunt Lolo

Aunt Lolo and Caleb ready to hit the trails.

The petting zoo at the Zoo was nasty and great all at the same time.

Rainy days make a great day to go to the Mall...oh my...everyday should be a rainy day!
Caleb and Dax had a blast at this indoor play area. The kid in the green was
Caleb's little buddy while we were there.

Caleb wanted to play in the dirt so we put him to good use.

Dax just loves to be outside and to put things in buckets.

Three generations.
